Learning Observed
Today we looked at how our letter of the week; ‘B’/’b’ are formed. We drew a line inside the letters provided to see what direction we take the pen first to form the ‘B’/’b’. Then we used the crayons to draw a B/b letter on our paper, before finally colouring in our letters. Raisa completed the three stages for both capital B and lower-case b. Raisa was engaged and enthusiastic about this writing activity.

Evidence of learning
Raisa was able to form a capital ‘B’ and lower-case ‘b’ in three different ways. I wonder if Kiko can use these letters in her writing this week?

Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Raisa is developing his Capabilities in Writing. She was able to work by herself to form the letters in three different ways, without the learning coach (Managing Self). Raisa is starting to form her letters correctly and use the letter sounds she can hear (Using Language, Symbols and Text). She was able to Think of the three steps and complete them, as well as remind others (Relating to others).

Thanks Miss Morgan.. Raisa enjoys writing a lot and she often tried to write some sentence i.e. a birthday wish using a mix of letters that only Raisa can understand :) I reckon it is a good start of learning how to form a meaningful word from different letters and later on developing sentences.. can't wait to see her progressing!! :)
